808 Club Pattaya burst onto to the walking street nightlife scene back in April 2014. Not sure if opening at the beginning of low season was part of the master plan or not? But it certainly had an affect on the club and 808 was slow to get going, and was quiet most evenings for the first few months. However whether by genius marketing, high season coming or a combination of both it soon became one of walking streets hottest places to be seen.
Located directly above their sister bar Candy shop, about third of the way down walking street on the right (when walking from beach road). 808 couldn’t be easier to get to. Simply take the neon lit escalator to party heaven.

Once atop the escalator you have the option you head straight into the club, or sit on the large terrace at the front, from where you can watch the shenanigans below or spot your fellow revelers before they enter the nightclub. We love to spend an hour on the terrace first, great spot to observe the craziness of walking street.
Once inside the club you are faced with a large central dance floor. Either side of the dancing zone is large seating areas where you can take a well earned break from dancing the night away. If occupying a table you are expected to have a drink, and table service is excellent and quick. If your in a larger group then the best value option is to buy a whole bottle of vodka or Thai Whiskey, the price will include ice and mixers. The set up is placed in the middle of the table from where you help yourself.
Being the newest club on the scene, it stands to reason that the tech in here is also the most up to date. Club 808 boats probably the best sound system on the eastern seaboard and the level of bass it pumps out will have your bones ringing. The tunes provided are played by international standard DJ’s and genre varies slightly from evening to evening. All of this is accompanied by some truly stunning light shows.
The crowd here is a mix of locals, expats and tourists. But it seems to be the firm favorite among the richer young Thai’s and the more hip younger tourist. Entry is free into the club and prices are extremely reasonable (probably why the Thai’s like it over other establishments). The club offers regular drinks promo’s and happy hours, and has events on several times a week.
