Royal Garden Plaza Pattaya bills itself as an “Entertainment mall”. The aim of it’s developers was to create a truly multi faceted destination, which attracts shoppers, tourists and entertainment seekers alike.
The air conditioned mall is a welcome escape from the heat of Pattaya beach road. Located towards the walking street end of beach and second roads, the mall is right in the thick of things. The mall can be accessed from either beach road or second road, making very to easy to reach for all tourists.
Once inside the first impression of Royal garden plaza is it resembles any other mall in any other major city. Shoppers will be pleased to see the mall has attracted some high end and international retailers. The selection of retailers is not as great as Central Festival Pattaya beach however.
Examples of retailers include, Esprit, Jaspal, Pandora and other big brands, as well as a few Thai shops offering high end crafts and silk products. Recently the ground floor has also become a mini property exhibition. Many of the cities developers having stalls here to present the newly built condominium resorts.
Royal Garden Plaza also has fairly decent selection of food outlets offering all manner of refreshments. Brands include Burger King, KFC, The Pizza Company, and Sizzler. As well as few independent food outlets and coffee shops.
If you enter the mall from the beach road end it really on resembles a shopping mall. However those who enter from the second road side, will instantly recognize the entertainment opportunities. Royal gardens is home to the internationally famous attraction “Ripley’s believe it or Not”.
Other attractions include Louis Tussaud’s wax works, which like it’s more famous namesake, offers life size replicas of the rich and famous. There is also a 4D cinema and a haunted house type attraction. The attractions inside do cost extra, but guests can buy a multi ticket for all attractions which is a around 50% off individual prices.
It’s location right in the center of Pattaya make getting here very easy. It is with easy walk of most central hotels and for those who stay a little further out then there are plenty of Baht bus’s running by both ends regularly. There is a small basement car park for those who prefer to drive.

Overall Royal Garden plaza Pattaya is a great addition to the city, and has been a favorite spot for well over a decade now. Offering a great choice of things to do, it really is possible to keep the whole family entertained for a few hours. A great way to escape the heat or a rainy afternoon.
The mall is open daily from 10:30 until 22:30 and is free to enter.
