The Pier Nightclub Pattaya first opened it’s doors to the public in 2013 and within a few short months had established itself as one of the best clubs on walking street.
Located halfway along the strip on the right when walking from beach road, the Pier is easily found and attracts a great deal of walk in trade as well as groups of younger Thai’s and expats. As with the rest of walking street the club is fairly busy 7 nights a week, and if your here during high season the place will be packed out soon after opening.
The Pier is located above the main strip and can be accessed by either stairs or the escalator. Entrance is free and the dress code is pretty lax, in fact we are not sure there is a dress code, as your have some clothes on you can enter.
Once inside you will be treated to one of the best laser light shows around, as well as awesome tunes played out on its sound system. The sound system isn’t the largest or loudest on the strip but more than suffices for this size of club.
The layout is more similar to a Thai style nightclub with a large open central dance floor. Surrounding the dance floor is seating areas consisting of high tables and bar stools. The tables are usually taken by the groups of young Thai’s who seem to favor this club, whilst the expats and tourist seem to migrate to the bar area. Obviously the dance floor is a huge mix of both.
Drink prices are similar to that of other nightclubs on walking street, and the place is open from late until early morning. We have on many occasions stumbled out of here when the sun is shining bright. One great thing is there is MacDonald’s directly opposite, cant’t beat grabbing a breakfast and heading home to sleep it off.
We recommend at least one evening should be spent in The Pier Nightclub Pattaya.
